Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
How I found it
Nested session, Bar & apps > Startup.
Confidence
High. Observed.
Explanation
The header says "Extra apps after login. Bar and clipboard always start." The first row is "Bar (breadbar)" with an on/off switch and Remove. The list also shows about 20 system entries as editable bash lines one click from deletion: idle daemon, network check, first-boot probe, and the
breadpaper/breadshot/breadlock/breadbox/breadhelp/breadpad listencommand buses. Removing one silently breaks a desktop feature (for example the lock or screenshot command bus).Expected: split into "Your startup apps" (user-added, app picker with icons, no raw commands by default) and a collapsed "System services" section that is read-only or guarded by a confirm, with human descriptions.
