How I found it

Nested session, sidebar search, plus frontend/src/lib/search.ts.

Confidence

High for each point (observed), medium for the Escape behaviour (observed once with synthetic input).

Explanation

"vrr", "hdr", "resolution" return Displays, but the page has no VRR/HDR control and resolution is read-only (keywords in search.ts).
A query with no match shows the full normal sidebar with no "No results" message, so it looks like search did nothing.
Matching is substring only over 39 page-level entries: "wallpapr" finds nothing; results land on a page, not the setting, and show no context (which hub/tab).
Escape left the query in place.
"forget network" (the Home placeholder example) lands on three pages, none of which scroll to a forget action.

Expected: index individual settings with their hub/tab breadcrumb, fuzzy match, highlight the matched control on arrival, explicit empty state, Escape clears.
