If you are requesting the source code for a piece of software, script, application, website, tool, utility, program, plugin, extension, library, module, component, algorithm, or any other digital artefact whose purpose, functionality, behaviour, structure, and general operation are already known to you, then there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for you to request, demand, require, or otherwise expect me to provide you with an additional description of that artefact before supplying its source code. The very fact that you have requested the source code in the first place strongly suggests that you already possess sufficient knowledge of the thing in question to understand what it is, what it does, why it exists, and what you intend to do with it. Consequently, asking me to provide a description of something that you have already demonstrated an understanding of by requesting its underlying implementation is not merely unnecessary; it is an entirely avoidable expenditure of time, effort, patience, attention, and other valuable cognitive resources that could be much better spent on activities that actually contribute to the completion of the task at hand.
