Child of ECO-28.

  • Serialize publication of the pinned bread-ecosystem checkout. Clone and verify the exact revision in a private directory, then move it into the shared cache atomically.
  • Use a cache prefix that older release jobs cannot remove with their wildcard cleanup.
  • Make dev, beta, and stable index jobs clean up only their own temporary checkout, including on failure.

Verified with Bash syntax and YAML parsing, plus isolated concurrent clone tests and success/failure runs of all three index steps. Each test preserved a sibling checkout. No live runner or user configuration changed.
