Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
After a target network failed, the bootstrap fallback treated any activated device as still on bootstrap. NetworkManager autoconnect can associate with a third network and still report the device activated, so the flow returned Connected with the bootstrap SSID while the radio was somewhere else.
The fallback now compares the active SSID with the bootstrap SSID. A different SSID, or no reading at all, takes the existing reconnect path; only an exact match claims the bootstrap. The decision is a pure function, tested without touching NetworkManager: the bootstrap SSID passes, a third SSID fails, and a missing reading fails.
